Yea and if the 425mm rails were not performing well all the megathron pilots would settle for 350mm rail loadouts

i think they whuld whine and moan on forums abaut as much as we projektile users are
Its pointles to balance the projektile that are shootin from similar ranges
Every large guns in EVE got abaut similar chrakteristik: long range ammo suck!
that make em dificult to balance due to short range ammo usage in them ( 1400mms whit EMP and 70Km fallof)
why not make some "Diferent" wepon system? beside, in 1400mms description is sed "lob Heavy damage at EXSTREAM ranges"
as for now i dont see it lobbing anything enywere ...
I agree, anyways the 1200mm's are a typhoon's weapon i would say. Also hardly any tempest pilot used 1200mm's before the recent changes because basically they are not very good - unless we can all afford to buy and lose a full compliment of 1200mm 'scout's 
The 1400mm should be the tempest primary weapon as it is a tier 2 bs and people having to adapt by using 1200mm's shows there is an issue. I believe that tracking/falloff needs to be looked at and tweaked on the 1400mm's but am concerned with the complete lack of responses from dev's...

Very interesting post and findings Grim and shows it definatley needs to be looked at if it isn't atm by the devs, one can hope...
